Old MacDonald was/had been/seemed to be a simple/quiet/ordinary farmer. He lived/stayed/dwelled on his/that/the farm for many years/decades/generations. Every day/Each morning/Come sunrise, he would work/labor/tinker in his fields, raising crops/vegetables/fruits. MacDonald was known/thought of/revered as a kind man who always had a smile for everyone/who was friendly to all/who greeted his neighbors with warmth. One day, while working/tilling/planting, MacDonald discovered/found/stumbled upon something truly amazing/extraordinary/remarkable. It was/turned out to be/seemed like a giantwooden egg!
He/MacDonald/The farmer didn't know what to do/was utterly perplexed/couldn't believe his eyes.
He took/Carried/Picked up the egg carefully/gently/with trepidation and brought it/took it/transported it back to his house/farmhouse/cottage. His wife/The farmer's wife/MacDonald's spouse was just as surprised/equally amazed/just as flabbergasted by the sight/discovery/find. They decided to/agreed upon/planned to keep it a secret/hide it/protect it.
They didn't know what would happen next/They waited with bated breath/They were filled with anticipation.
A few days later/Some time passed/Eventually/On the following morning, the egg began to crack/started to hatch/split open. To their amazement/surprise/astonishment, a tiny, fluffy creature emerged! It looked like/resembled/appeared to be a mix between a rabbit/chicken/dragon and a cloud/butterfly/star.
MacDonald and his wife were overjoyed. This was the greatest surprise/most incredible moment/start of something wonderful they could have ever imagined!

It all kicked off when ol' Jebediah, a seasoned grower, decided to take on his own. He was tired of those technology buffs telling him how to cultivate his land. Suddenly, Jebediah heard about this fancy thing called Python, a computer script that could handle all sorts of chores.
Jebediah figured he'd give it a whirl. He fetched the Python software and started reading through the instructions. It was confusing, but Jebediah was determined.
He spent| Weeks of| Days straight typing away, trying to learn how to make Python work for him.
Massive Serpent on the Farm!
Well folks, you won't believe what happened/occurred/took place right here on ol' Farmer John's property! It all began/started/commenced yesterday afternoon when Mrs. Peterson, our lovely neighbor, spotted/saw/observed something unusual/strange/odd slitherin' through the barnyard. At first, she thought/believed/assumed it was just a big ol' snake/lizard/worm, but then it grew/expanded/increased to a size that would make your hair stand on end/curl/erect! This here creature was at least fifty feet long, with scales shinin'/sparklin'/glimmerin' like polished silver/jet black obsidian/emerald green, and eyes glowin' bright/blazin'/sharpened.
We/The townsfolk/Folks around here are all a little nervous/frightened/scared about this here serpent, but Farmer John says he ain't worried/concerned/fazed one bit. He says it's probably just lookin' for website food/searchin' for shelter/passing through. He even went and offered/gave/presented the critter a bucket of milk/bowl of apples/plate of potatoes in the hopes that it would stay away/leave peacefully/go back to its home. We just hope this whole thing doesn't turn into a big mess/become dangerous/cause any trouble, because we're all pretty fond of our little farm community.
